How to Add Subtitles in VLC Media Player

Preparation

1. Open Your Favorite Browser.
2. Go to https://www.opensubtitles.org/
3. You Can also use Subscene.com, TVSubtitles.net
4. In the Search Box, Type the Name of Your Favorite Movie or TV Show and Hit Search.
5. When You Start Typing, Suggestions Will Appear.
6. Click on the Relevant Result.
7. Here, You Can Find Subtitle of the Movie in Many Different Languages.
8. Hover Over the Country Flag to See the Subtitle Language.
9. When You Find the Suitable Subtitle, Click on It.
10. Click on the “Download” Button.
11. Wait for the Download to Complete.
12. Once the Download is Complete, Click on the Arrow Next to File and Select “Show in Folder”.
13. Extract the Zip File.
14. Copy the File and Paste it in the Same Location as Your Video File.
15. Now, Open the Video File in VLC Media Player.
16. In the Top Menu Bar, Click on “Subtitle” Option.
17. Select “Add Subtitle File” From the Drop Down Menu.
18. Select the File on Your Computer and Click “Open”.
19. As You Can See, Subtitle Has Been Added to the Video.
