How to Clear a Chat on WhatsApp on an Android Device

Preparation

1. Go to Your Phone Menu.
2. Find WhatsApp.
3. Tap on the WhatsApp Icon.
4. Make Sure That You Are on the “Chats” Tab.
5. Tap on the “Chat” You Wish to Clear.
6. Tap on “More Options” Which Is a Three-dot Icon Located at the Top Right Corner of the Page.
7. Tap on “More”.
8. Tap on “Clear Chat”.
9. If You Wish, You May Retain Starred Messages and Chat Media Files by Un-Checking These 2 Check Boxes.
10. Tap on “Clear” Again to Confirm Deletion.
11. As You Can See, All the Chat Messages Are Now Cleared.
