How to Create New Local User Account in Windows 10

Preparation

1. Click on the Start Button.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Click on “Accounts”.
4. Click on “Family and Other People” on the Left Pane.
5. Click on “Add Someone Else to This PC”.
6. Click on “I Don’t Have this Person’s Sign-in Information.
7. Now, Add a User Without Microsoft Account.
8. Enter the Desired User Name for this Account.
9. Enter a Password.
10. Re Enter the Password again to Confirm.
11. Click Next.
12. Answer the Security Questions. This is Useful if You Forget the Password.
13. Click Next.
14. As you can see, a New Local Account Has Been Created on Your Device.
15. Click on the Name of the Account to Change its Account Settings.
16. Click on “Change Account Type” Button.
17. Now, Click on the Drop Down Menu and Select Your Preferred Option.
