How to Edit Shortcuts on VLC Media Player

Preparation

1. Open VLC Media Player on Your PC.
2. In the Top Menu Bar, Click on the “Tools” Option.
3. Select “Preferences” From the Drop Down Menu.
4. Navigate to the “Hotkeys” Tab.
5. List of the All the VLC Media Player Shortcuts are Shown Here.
6. Double Click on the “Shortcut” You Want to Edit.
7. A “Hotkey Change” Option is Displayed.
8. Press the Key Combination to Change it.
9. For Example, Currently “F” Key is set as Shortcut Key for Full screen.
10. Let Say You Want to Change that to “SHIFT+Enter”.
11. To do that, Just Hold the Shift Key and Press Enter.
12. If the shortcut is already used up then a warning is displayed.
13. Otherwise the Change is Made.
14. Click on the “Save” button on the bottom right to Apply the Changes.
15. Now, Open a Media File on Your PC.
16. Hold Shift Key on Your Keyboard and Press Enter.
17. As You Can See, Full Screen Window is Activated.
