Step by Step Procedure

Preparation

  1. Click the Windows "Start" Button.
  2. Type "MS Config" in the Search Text Box at the Bottom of the Menu.
  3. This Opens the System Configuration Console.
  4. Click the "Startup" Tab.
  5. This Allows You to See the Programs Installed as Startup Options on Your Computer.
  6. Check the Boxes of the Applications You Want to Start When Your Computer Starts.
  7. For Programs, You No Longer Want to Start When the Computer Starts, Remove the Check From the Program's Corresponding Check Box.
  8. Click "Apply" and Choose "Ok.
  9. A Popup Window Will Ask if You Want to Reboot the Computer or Exit Without Rebooting.
  10. Click "Restart" to Reboot the Computer and Save the Changes.
  11. Choose "Exit Without Rebooting" to Exit the Console and Have the Changes Take Effect the Next Time You Start Your Computer.
