How to Defragment a Hard Drive on a Windows 7 PC

Preparation

1. Click on "Start" Button. Then, Type "Disk Defragmenter" on the Search Bar.
2. Click on "Disk Defragmenter" to Access the Program.
3. Click on "Configure Schedule."
4. Place a Checkmark Next to "Run on a Schedule."
5. Select the Frequency at Which You Want Disk Defragmenter to Run.
6. Select the Day of Week and Time You Want to Disk Defragmenter to Run.
7. Click on "Select Disks" to Choose the Disks You Want Defragmented.
8. Click on "Ok," Then "Close" to Save Your Disk Defragmenter Preferences.
9. Your Computer Will Then Defrag Regularly on the Day and Time You've Elected for the Schedule.
