How to Zoom Into Videos on VLC Media Player

Preparation

1. Open VLC Media Player on Your PC.
2. Open a Media File That You Would Like to Watch.
3. In the Top Menu Bar, Click on “Tools” Option.
4. Click on “Effects and Filters” From the Drop Down Menu.
5. Go to “Video Effects” Tab.
6. Navigate to the “Geometry” Sub tab under it.
7. Check the “Interactive Zoom” checkbox.
8. Click “Save” and “Close”.
9. The Interactive Zoom Feature is Now Activated.
10. Now, You Can See a Small Picture-in-picture Like Video on the Top-left Section of Your Media Window.
11. There Will Be a Rectangle on It That Denotes the Area That is Magnified.
12. Click and Drag the Rectangle to Your Preferred Position.
13. Moving the Rectangle Around Will Change the Area That is Being Zoomed.
